Five Ways To Use Leftover Pulled Pork

Five ways to use leftover pulled pork

I do not think I have ever met anyone who does not like pulled pork. If they exist, they are no friend of mine.

If you have ever smoked pulled pork you know that it is an event. Smoking (or slow grilling) pulled pork takes many hours. If you are like us, whenever we cook a pulled pork for a family event, game day or dinner there are always leftovers. Always.

No one ever complains about leftover pulled pork, but sometimes you want more than just a plate of BBQ or sandwich — you want something different…here are five ways we use our leftover pulled pork to everyone’s delight.

Tostadas / Burritos / Tacos

If you cook on the weekend, you are more than setup for a Pulled Pork Tostada or Taco Tuesday. [Enough said.]

Breakfast

Take the pulled pork and use it in eggs or with a couple other ingredients and make a breakfast scramble that everyone is happy with.

Mac & Cheese

Two staples in our house is Mac & Cheese and pulled pork. They are perfect together.

Nachos

Instead of grilling chicken or steak use your leftover pulled pork on some chips with cheese et al and create some bangin’ nachos.

Grilled Cheese

Everyone loves pork belly or bacon on a grilled cheese, so why not use pulled pork between two slices of bread with melted cheese. Winner.

These are just five ways to use the pulled pork you have left after your last cook. Really, the combinations are endless. Pulled pork is a perfect addition to almost everything. Give it a go, and let us know what you come up with.
